All the underwriters wanted was contract of employment and then they called the wife's new HR manager. Didn't ask anymore than whether she worked there, her salary and that was it.0

I know, it was a bit silly but its often the norm in hospitality to be honest - he's a chef and things can be very casual. Also there is a serious chef shortage nationwide (the pay is bad, hours long and work hard!) so you are pretty much guaranteed a job if you're any good and have decent experience.0
