if you think its too hard try https://www.liveforspeed.net another free racing game (for a couple of cars and tracks- although you can pay to unlock other ones) with great graphics but has lots of automatic options if you find it too hard

It also has awesome online play which is on a really fast server.

looks like it may be based on GTR2 - FIA GT Race Game

same production team.

in which case it is a real simulator rather than an arcade game.
