My son has accidentally changed the screen from tv to gamepad.

How does it get it back to the tv?

The only info I can find to do this is on the menu screen but he can't go back to that as he is in the middle of a game with no save option (he has to complete the level)

google suggests;

In order to toggle the display between the Wii U GamePad and the TV screen, press the "X" button on the Wii U GamePad or select the "toggle" icon on the top right corner of the Wii U GamePad screen.

Yes I found that thanks but that only works if you are on the main menu screen my son was in the middle of playing a game.

In the end he had to finish the level on the gamepad and then switch back once the game had saved itself.

There must be a way of switching in game as he did it accidentally whilst playing, be nice to know what that is in case it happens again.
