Tariff For Electricity Supply

Hi there have just had renewal through to say it's time to look at my tariff for gas and electricity. It's the first time I've been asked the question since I installed my Pv and also since I moved into this property.
Is there a Faq post somewhere suggesting how I go about choosing best supplier?
Thanks for your usual support!

When you do a comparison, I suggest you also look at seperate suppliers for gas & electric, as usually now they work out cheaper than dual fuel deals with a single company.0

So been comparing today managed a £30 per month saving based on anticipated usage. Makes my battery even further away now though.....£53 per month for electricity. ......best deal by for me was duel fuel one supplier6.72kw Pv Ja Solar 280w * 24 panels, Solar Edge inverter, South facing no shading.

Very surprised by that ruggers?
Iresa for electric, Zog for gas, way cheaper than any dual fuel?4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -
Hi there Avro energy did it for me, when we moved in we were on a poor tariff but have managed to change to Avro with no exit fees so can look again as soon as Martin sends me his email!
Zog and Iresa were very similar prices but still more than Avro?
A bit dissapointed I can't justify financially a battery.......

Same for us, just £25 a month with Iresa for electric and £22 a month with Zog for gas, since we had the solar panels & heat pump installed. Also, both due to be slightly in credit throughout the year.
Ruggers, you must be importing a load of electric if after having such a large system installed, you still need to pay for £53 worth of electric a month :eek:0 -

I'm going to look at the import bit........you are right......there are only 3 of us.......you have me worrying about my large plasma TV! Electricity bill did drop to £10 a month so I wonder if I've over estimated how much I am now using.....
Thank you! My wife said I should ask on here for advice! It's worked
