So those organisations that have invested heavily in CFS?
FLA, BBA and MAT?
I am personally disappointed that CitA appear to have rolled over without comment re SFS, CIA, accreditation and peer review - all over the past year. All causing stress at work at the moment
Hi
I haven't named anyone on here
I do however raise the issues direct with certain agencies & individuals, I always have done and will continue to do so.
My posts on this thread ask a number of questions including who exactly benefits from lower trigger figures? especially after all the hype and soundbites on how we want to help those in debt (including the vulnerable) that's been going on for approx the last three years - so.. like I said the silence is deafening unless I have missed something.
Interesting take from you on CitA:) - who you say 'appear to have rolled over without comment' re SFS & the other stuff - maybe you could elaborate a little further on this - if you do, then you will perhaps go some way to answering the original question you put to me:)
Best Regards

Is there any new information on the Standard Financial Statement? People considering bamkruptcy kind of feel unsure what the implications are for them. There seem to be horror stories of people getying hit with IPAs of £600 etc which seems perverse when they are bankrupting under the pressures of £400 monthly debt payments. Does this effect the man on the street yet?0

It is very difficult at the moment, but I am compiling information that will help bankrupts to understand how the SFS works and how to challenge any IPA's put forward based upon the SFS, but it will evolve over time. First information will be in about 3 weeks time.stuffed1234 wrote: »Is there any new information on the Standard Financial Statement? I really could not agree more! Cit A have completely failed to stand up to the Money Advice Service, and the advisers (and admin) of the CAB network have suffered greatly as a result. So those organisations that have invested heavily in CFS?

MAS were held by the public accounts committee 3 years ago to be a huge waste of money other than the face to face debt advice being provided by Cit A and one or two others. Long ago Cit A should have turned around to MAS and said we are the debt experts in this field but instead they allowed MAS to interfere in everything, re-invent the wheel.
I get the feeling that up and down the Country CAB debt advisers have had enough of Cit A, MAS and their ridiculous idea's and stress that they cause.
On a National level, they will get message soon, I assure you!
