Can a mortgage application be changed?
I have been mis-informed by my solicitor regarding extra's on my new build. They said i add it to my house price for mortgage application. Surveyor queried the difference between Halifax and house builder so builder called and asked if i had added extras on. He told me extras are paid direct to them and i will now have to pay stamp duty on them 😡.
Can i change the purchase price on application, i am still going to be in the same rate bracket.
