Hi.
Need to buy some shrubs and small trees for my garden. Any recommendations? Some of the garden centres are real rip-offs!

I've bought shrubs & flowers there before - the quality is excellent; but you need to get there early - they sell out quickly.0 -
The best place to buy trees and shrubs of all sizes is in Clandeboye Tree Nursery, use the entrance across from dixons garden centre, the tree nursery is located within a walled garden about 100meters inside the main gates. Ask for Pascal, he is very friendly and their prices are very very cheap. All items sold are Northern Ireland native and grown from seed in the nursery.0

I'm no gardener, but the best success I've had with shrubs is from cuttings. I took a few cuttings of Donegal fuscia, holly, laurel and hydrangea from my folks place and they have thrived. Had no success with philadelphus, magnolia or camelia. Still, the cuttings were free!0
