Hi I was wondering if anyone could advise me on this. My partner and I have lived in our house for 8 years and the mortgage was solely in his name. He wants to sell me the house for the remainder owing on the mortgage. I have phoned Halifax who the mortgage is with and they said they don't do this, he would have to sell me…

Hi I have paid quite a bit in to the property,when I sold the flat I bought a new roof for the house, I then transferred money to put a small lump sum towards the mortgage then too. I would like security for myself and children for various reasons too. Sometimes the relationship has been rocky.
