PN Indigo Railway Car Park

Hi in December i received a PN in Redhill car park, this was due to the a failure of the contactless payment. I forgot about it over the following weeks and then xmas came and i was out of time to appeal to popla. i did contact both contactless parking, IPAYMYPCN.com and Indigo regarding the PN explaining that i was the driver and offering to pay the failed transaction of £6.30.
'I have set up an account through Connect Cashless parking and meticulously pay for my parking either in the car or on the train. If you review my account you will see that i have made regular payments through your system. I would have done exactly the same on the day that the above PCN was issued, however it has not been deducted from my credit card as i have now looked at my statement. This could only have occurred due to an error in your payment systems. I understand that for these reasons the fee for the day remains unpaid and i am prepared to pay the daily payment.'

I received a response saying: If you believe you have made payment for parking, kindly provide evidence of this in the form of a receipt to connectcashlessparking

Also, in order for us to continue this line of communication, please confirm if you were the driver of the vehicle at the time of the event. I had no receipt as the transaction failed. I admitted i was the driver.
Next i know my wife received a letter from ZZPF debt collectors, i again answered the the correspondence explaining the above and that i was the driver. I received a response stating that the PN was correctly served again there is no one listening to the mitigation.

To cut a long story short my wife has received 2 further notices which have been ignored and have since received the following from a solicitor. We have been instructed by ZZPS Limited on behalf of Indigo Parking re failure to pay penalty notice, please pay in full within the next 14 days.

Failure to make payment in full or contact us to discuss repayment of this debt may result in us recommending to the car park operator that the matter be enforced through criminal court proceedings. Such proceedings would require your attendance at magistrates court. Outstanding balance is now £206.
