Take a look at the recent Westminster debate on parking, "DVLA and car parking companies" conducted on Tuesday 21st March. The motion was moved by Kevin Foster, MP for Torbay, he and many of his colleagues are continuously bombarded by complaints from their constituents about the private parking industry.

Footage from the BBC, if you have a licence then go watch the debate on iPlayer here:

Only available until 23rd April, god bless Aunty Beeb.

Its clear our MP's hate the parking cowboys as much as the public does and well worth the watch if you are able and have a spare 90 minutes.

I very much doubt that time can be found for in depth scrutiny, Honourable Member have their hands full for the next two years.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

An interesting watch. The MP's voice what we say

Andrew Jones, the Minister, has not grasped the ATA situation in that the IPC are a sham operator and he thinks, operates within the code of practice. What a joke ??

As nice a guy he seems to be, he is very confused and frankly, his contribution to the debate just left me thinking it sounds like the waffle we heard from the TV program "Yes Minister"

It's going to take a lot to sort out the men from the boys in this government

We didn't see the live debate before though, Xanthanan.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It was riveting ... I didn't think house of commons debates could be so interesting but I was sat there last night til silly o'clock pausing & rewinding it, taking notes and being quite impressed that the usual 'commons' jousting between parties was well and truly gone.

I now have some great quotes to use in my upcoming case :D
