ParkingEye Charge - Bury

DesperateDeb
I've been looking at the main post about appeals etc but wanted some opinions on my case.
I've received a "charge" today from ParkingEye for overstaying my visit by 40 minutes. I just lost track of time and stupidly didn't think the car park was actually monitored as I didn't see anybody physically checking.
My question is yes it's my mistake so is it worth me still appealing?
I've not been in touch with anybody as I thought I'd look into it before I did anything.
Thanks

Always appeal, there is no need to ask.
And first check your PCN against the blank space one linked in the NEWBIES thread post #3 (I am fed up with saying this on every PE thread). You need to check if it's a POFA one or not.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
Sorry if my question was frustrating but I don't make an habit of picking up fines. And I'm confused with all the abbreviations so I'll go and read up on them.0

If this is Woodfields then get in touch with Rochelle Bailey at British Land. She is known to cancel them even for long over-stays. The only problem arises if it gets to POPLA stage as PE then refuse to cancel (even on her say so).
Rochelle is the one who brought PE in to 'manage' the site . You will get a response, and she does offer to have the tickets cancelled...

Chris Grigg is the CEO of British Land do cc him in. cr@britishland.com
If this is Moorgate then send a nice email to Matthew Whiteley (the Managing Agent) at Savills asking him to instruct Parking Eye to cancel it. Let him know you've spent a lot of money on site - receipts might help if you have them.
e:mail mwhiteley@savills.com
There is a genuine customer clause and Matthew is on record as stating that genuine customers should not be penalised.0
