Sainsburys online groceries

I just wondered if anyone who uses it regularly can tell me if the website design has changed recently. I haven't ordered any food for over a month and when I logged in it all looks different.


The reason I ask is that I somehow logged into a fake Barclays account a few years ago and they tried to take my money out. Fortunately the bank contacted me and was able to stop the transaction but it has left me a little paranoid about new formats now!!

It has changed from what I last remember but surely if if you go to sainsburys.co.uk you cant go wrong can you ?

Thank you for the info. The site does look different now and I'm just worried because it has changed since I last used it and also it was running very slowly.


I now always type out the website address in full since my "scare". It was so easy for them to get my details and such a pain to get sorted out.

Hello

Remember to check when you log in that the address starts "https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop" and that there is the little padlock symbol. Click on the padlock and make sure all of this is correct, things like it has bee verified etc and you should be safe.

I was told by my bank to type the shop or bank name into google and take the top link. I use sainsbugs site every day misty and I haven't noticed anything different. I just add stuff to my basket as and when I remember, daily, and then at the end of the week I order.

The top link can be placed there by a business paying the search engine so is not something to be relied on.

It's a tactic used by scammers or business's sailing close to the wind using copycat sites etc.

If (once you've checked the site is genuine), you bookmark/favourite the site, then you won't have any problems in future (nor will you have the hassle of having to type in long names each time ).
