How much is my endowment policy worth?

I took out an endowment policy through NWBS in 1997 on a £33,000 mortgage - how much will this be worth now - is there any way I can find out?

Write to the NWBS and ask them for an evaluation of its current value, and ask them for the industry standard projections for what it could be worth on maturity.

There is also a value which they will give you if you stopped the policy which sometimes is less than the value so they can recoup costs etc.

Other than that, one of the financial advisors who visit this site may be able to get access to the information.

Popsy, Do you not recieve an annual statement from NWBS?
I receive one from PMAS detailing current financial info/expected value.
If you are looking for a surrender value, then this information should be requested from the provider as it is not usually recorded on the annual statement.

Popsy had put NWBS and I was assuming this was the Nationwide Building Society but I have made an assumption here.
