savoury cracker/biscuit recipe?

Options
Hello. I'm hoping that someone has a favourite savoury biscuit/cracker recipe they could share. I always think that the crackers in the shops are either rather dull but inexpensive or look more interesting (wth seeds and stuff) but seem to be 'speciality' and therefore pricey. I'm sure they can be made better at home but there aren't a lot of recipes out on the internet.
Anyone a savoury baker out there? Thanks
Trying to keep in budget.

  • Tbh I myself wouldn't be bothered as I eat them rarely

I adore the lidls deluxe range Rosemary ones. Very tasty and cheap for the quality

I'd only eat perhaps six every couple of weeks though which is why I wouldn't make them

I made some cheesy squares, they were very moreish, so I didn't make them again. Easy to eat them all in one sitting. That was cheese, cayenne pepper (instead of mustard powder) flour and butter, lots of recipes on the internet but here's the one I used.

Thanks JIL and Islandmaid - those recipes look delicious - i'll have a crack at them this weekend.

We eat quite a lot of savoury crackers and biscuits and although I know you can buy them relatively inexpensively (and I agree live long, the Lidl deluxe ranges are good) I also like to make things myself. I actually like to bake, and my family enjoys the results.

I made these today using a GF flour mix from my favourite GF blogger, I did the mustard ones and they are so tasty, a keeper of a recipe for me, thank you:D:D
