Dos anyone know anything about the Church Workers Pension Fund? the scheme for non-ordained workers for the C of E. My son has just joined and is being offered their pension scheme. He's only 22, getting paid (I think) about £25k a year and has student loan repayments to make. Is the scheme any good?

If your question is "should he opt out?" The answer is a resounding NO.
It doesn't really matter if it's a good scheme or not. It's the only chance of free money from employer contributions he's got so he should embrace it.
Whichever part of the scheme he's in will be superior to opting out.0 -
