Can anyone confirm whether raw (unpasteurised) cows milk can contain parasites and how so?
The supplier is a reputable organic farmer and the milk is regularly tested for bacteria but not parasites.

I used to drink farm bottled milk (as it was called then) up to the age of around 11 and it doesn't appear to have done me any harm. There again, I doubt there were any real benefits from drinking it either.0 -
There are strict guidelines on the storing and selling of unpasteurised milk as posted above. Selfridges foodhall attempted to sell it from a vending machine and it was closed down; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22454324
But if you want to know what can happen read this; http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1356281/Crippled-goats-cheese-Author-Michael-Arditti-told-sciatica--fact-bug-eaten-spine.html.0 -
We drank green topped bottled milk as children & never noticed any ill effects.
We were usually drinking it warm-from-the-cow, as we walked back from the dairy, mind.
These days, it's a massive rarity to find and the children were raised on supermarket sanctioned & sourced milk & also appear fine on it, so I reckon I had an enchanted childhood in comparison.0 -

I drove past that place yesterday and saw the sign. I wondered why anyone would want to drink it. Must be a market for it if they are advertising it.

I wouldn't buy unpasteurised but I do miss unhomogenised.
I spotted it in waitrose once but their isn't one near me to buy from.
I dont think I have ever had unpasturied, is there a difference in taste? or heathier?0
