Resigned during disciplinary - Will they find out?

Hi all,
I was recently in the middle of a disciplinary for what I presumed to be a sackable offence, the incident was only an allegation and pending investigation.
I decided to hand my resignation notice with immediate effect which was accepted by my employer. Im unsure as to whether or not the disciplinary hearing went ahead without me and what the final verdict was.
I now been offered a job at a different organisation (subject to checks) and have a few concerns....
(a) Would my previous employer would reveal the fact I left in the middle of a disciplinary?
(b) The company from whom I have received the offer have not asked for a reference, will they directly contact the HR department of the last workplace directly?
(c) The offer I have received is from a Consultancy company that frequently second staff back to my previous employer, if my previous employer reject the secondment due to the above reasons, can my new employer terminate my employment?
Thanks

a) Possibly. There's certainly no reason that they can't.
b) Possibly. They can ask any previous employer for a reference if they want
c) Possibly, verging on probably. If they find out that a company they regularly do business with won't have you they are not likely to be happy - especially if you happened to have lied to them.
But honestly, the fact is that you can be dismissed for almost any reason - or none at all- for two years. So predicting what they will do is about as reliable as weather forecasting.0 -

A Yes they might. It is the truth.
B more than likely. Is your offer. Is the offer not subjective to satisfactory references
C within the first two years they could sack you for anything. If you become awkward to place due to this, then yes.0 -
In general I would speak to the new employer about this, difficult though it is. They will likely find out (either officially via written references, or unofficially via people-who-know-people) given the relationship between them and your current company. Better to hear it from you than "others" (and then you can put your own spin on it!).
What are the allegations and did you actually do it?
Maybe it won't be a big deal to them, or is irrelevant for the new role?
Your company's policy may be that they will only give a reference like "ThursdaysChild worked for us as a General Assistant between the dates of 1.1.15 and 7.4.17" although there are still 'unofficial' conversations that happen..
I was in a similar situation to you (although the disciplinary was in the past rather than actively "in process" in my case). I know I would have been always looking over my shoulder wondering if they knew or would find out, if I hadn't been open about it.0
