when there is a caption/slogan comp, particularly for a company that sells products for families, do some folks enter with jokes about getting drunk or, worse, sexual innuendos!! Don't get me wrong, I find some of them proper funny but the comper in me always thinks it's shooting themselves in the foot a bit, as it's very unlikely that their entry will get chosen if the content is a touch risqu! and doesn't really match the company as a whole. Was just wondering what fellow compers think of this? Do you ever cringe, not just at the sob stories, but at an ill-placed slogan? Maybe it's just me XD

I won a FB competition a while ago with OffersOn (when Labour lost all of their Scottish labour seats), it was an image caption comp' with a picture of Ed milliband making a gesture with his hands, can't remember the actual details but my caption was along the lines of "Ed Milliband get's shaf*£d by the whole of Scotland and now his hole's this big"

I wasn't really entering seriously but I ended up winning a £50 voucher for something.

Sometimes it pays to be a bit different from the norm, depends on who it is though.

I never read them (or the sob stories), some of them are random draws so it doesn't matter what you put unless there is a moral/disrepute etc clause in the T&C's
