HI
I am am looking to buy a property in the region of 800000. The bank and co ownership said they would both be able to lend me the 40000 50/50 split based on my circumstances.
My question is that I am only temporary in my work and am going back to school although i know i can still keep up with repayments during this time.
I have 6 months payslips that i can give co ownership but theres a section on the forum for the employer to fill out.
I know this is not very legal but if i filled out the employer section myself would co ownership contact my employer themselves.

Is that eighty thousand or eight hundred thousand - it's not clear ? This is, however, clearly fraud.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
Not a good idea0

Hey
U should think twice about it.

Maybe have a look at OwnCo instead - three year's tenancy in a new build property then an option to purchase either outright of using co-ownership at the end of the term. You get a 25% rebate on the rent you've paid at the end of the three years. More info here: http://www.housingadviceni.org/rent-buy0

Hi everyone.. needing some advice
I am keen to apply for co ownership but I've just read "need to be employed for 6 months by same employer"
I just got a new job and had planned to apply once I received my 3rd payslip.. does anyone know if this is acceptable?? Or are they really strict about same employer?
Thanks!0
