Finally Debt Free!!

Hi this is my first post but I've been using this site and reading the forum for over a year now and just thought I'd let you know how I got on.
My original debt was a £5200 bank loan, and 2 x £1000 credit cards. So just over £7000 in total. Last month I had left:
Bank Loan - £1200
Egg Card - £950
Capital One - £500
Mum - - £1000
Topman Card - £120
Total = £3770
I had been struggling with the repayments since I went back to University last year but this site helped me stay focused on not getting into any further debt.
Last month my Mum won the phone in competition on Deal or No Deal and won £15,000! She gave me £3000 and told me to forget what I owed her, I couldn't believe it!
I was tempted to splash out on a big plasma tv and playstation 3 but I did the sensible thing and paid off my loan, two credit cards and the store card it was the quickest £3000 I've ever spent it was gone in under an hour!
I cant believe how big a weight has been lifted off my shoulders I feel so much better now everythings cleared and the cards are cut up.
Anyway good luck to everyone else on getting debt free but dont worry too much you never know whats around the corner.
