Urgent help with credit report!

Hi,
I just checked my credit report (I have experian credit expert and haven't used it for ages) and its a mess! I really want to get it sorted but have no idea how to go about it. I'll list the problems and iof anyone can help with anything I'll be most grateful!
1. Firstly and most urgent, under the CIFAS fraud protection section there is details of someone who I don't know, at my previous address who has commited fraud  !!! My previous address was a building of flats, and several times on my report, no flat number was shown, but how has this been linked to me specifically (it's not showing on my husbands report)? The date recorded was six months after I moved out so the first thing I've done is update my new address on experian. What else can I do??
2. Electoral roll. I just last week joined the electoral roll in my new address, this hasn't been updated yet but I suspect it takes time. I still show as being on the electoral roll in my parents address up until the present. Do I need to contact their local council to change this? Also, there is an extra address, which is a duplicate of my parents address, minus the house number, listed as the fourth address when there should just be three. Can I have this removed?
3. Alias. I have 7 aliases listed! I'm sure that can't be good! How many should I have? Some of them are identical, a couple are my old address (the fraud one) but without my flat number. Can I clear this up a bit?
4. I have two financial associations with my husband, I presume this is fine... One of them has our flat number missing again, can I add the flat number?
5. Accounts section. This is OK, just need a few months so it is all green. My loan is not showing there, would it be wise to have it added?
6. Previous searches. I presume there is nothing I can do about this. Again, my flat number is missing (on both current and previous address). Got a search by 'express gifts ltd', don't even know who they are!
7. Linked addresses. I have 19 entries here! Some are simple things, like my address with flat number, linked to my address without flat number, or the spelling of my street as 'Saint' instead of 'St.'. There are also a couple of entries from an address I stay in for literally a couple of weeks back in 2004, but must have stupidly applied for a credit card. Can I have these removed?
Well if you've read all that, you deserve a medal. This is such a mess and I really have no idea to ask about these things, Any help at all would be much appreciated.
Thank you so much,
Sarah

I think you can just phone them up and tell them the facts.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0

Can I do that? I mean, anyone could just call and say 'it wasn't me?' can't they. Can't wait to have this sorted.2022 wins: PS5 bundle, SSD drive, luxury truffles

Why not ring them and ask how you go about putting corrections onto your file? Then follow it up with a letter to ask for the amendments.0

Write to them and tell them everything you have here. I've had one or two thing on my report such as an unauthorised search which I managed to get removed by writing to both the company doing the search and copying in the credit reference people.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Think I'll post them a letter tomorrow. Has anyone made similar changes before? How long does it take? Not planning on applying for anything in the near future anyway but want it sorted asap so all will be fine when we eventually apply for a mortgage.2022 wins: PS5 bundle, SSD drive, luxury truffles

hey,
thanks for this post, I don't have any answers but am in a similar situation with a high number of 'aliases'. It's ridiculous: I can spell my own name perfectly well on application forms, its just clearly whoever is processing them is not taking the time to enter it properly!

There should be a section on the website where you query certain parts of your report. I remember clearing someone else off of the associated people on my ex's report and i had to fill in a form

Sarah I have exactly the same thing on my credit file, 2 fraud entries from flats (not even the same building as mine), I used to live in. They are suppose to protect you. I know, I hate seeing them on there but apparently an application will not be automatically decline because of them. They will not go through automatically but be referred. I've been told there's nothing you can do about it.:(0
