Such high scores -how do they do it

This game works a damn sight better on a touchscreen device as you can be a lot quicker then.

A little confused though, I got a highscore of 2167 today and it told me my score had to be verified (it wouldve jumped into first place), but hours later still heard nothing and it hasnt gone onto the leaderboard.
