Making perfume

Hi
My DS loves making stuff and I thought it would be good to experiment at making home perfumes as she likes her smellies! Have searched the web and am not keen on using alcohol in the recipe and would prefer to stick to base oil with essentials oils in it. I am not sure what measures to use and which oils would be kid friendly. Any ideas????

There is a book "Create your own perfumes using essential oils" by Chrissie Wildwood - published 1994. Dont know if it has been republished since. Imagine there might be a copy around on Amazon for sale.0
