our fixed rate comes to an end at the beginning of january
we will have a balance of £72k and need to borrow and extra £20K for the work needed on the house (currently valued at £140K)
mortgage term would be £92K over 23 years
what would you do?? do I get a deal now? Wait to see what interest rates do? What type of deal do I get??

As the market is in a state of turmoil at the moment I would tend to hold on for a month or so to see if rates settle.
At the moment fixed rates tend to be coming down slightly, but trackers seem to be rising.I am a Mortgage Adviser
