Remortgage

Hi all
My mortgage is due for renewal in few months.
I pay 1300 a month at present and mine and my mrs salary combined is 3500
My query is I paid of my car finance last month so have no savings what so ever and currently saving 1500 a month but as my mortgage is due in two months I probably have only £4500 in savings.
Would this go against me or can I just show my bank statement and payslips and not my saving accounts? Mine and my mrs credit score is 999 each surprisingly!!
Please advise
Thanks

It's not really relevant unless you are required to reduce the balance for affordability reasons.0

Savings make no difference unless your buying a property or need to reduce the amount of mortgage borrowing for any reason. In fact, as your car finance has been repaid this will go in your favour.
May be worth looking for a new mortgage now and possibly applying now as well as some remortgages can take a few months to complete and you may pay a month or two on the standard variable rate with your current provider.0
