Hi there.
I'm looking for an LCD too as the screen on the 14" portable in my room is going orange on the left and green on the right!. To be fair it must be 10 years, a venerable Saisho.
I need one that'll do for TV, DVD player and PS2. I've narrowed it down to a 17" widescreen or a 20" 4:3 such as the Beko mentioned above.
It seems the 20" ones generally have a 640x480 resolution, which strikes me as a bit low for Playstation, or am I wrong? By contrast the 17" widescreens are 1280x1024.
In terms of price, I don't really want to go above £300, £350 at a push. As well as the Beko, my research has thrown up two possibilities, an Alba here or an LG here. Can anyone recommend one over the others, or something else entirely, for my needs?
Hope it's ok to post this in response to someone else's request. Thanks for any help anyone can give!0 -
