Picture captchas !

I'm about tearing my hair out tonight with these ** things :mad: Have never had a problem before today, but glad it's not just me.

Yes I had the same problem yesterday. It was giving me those "keep clicking till all the (eg mountains) have gone" whereas it usually fades straight to the next pic it was taking about 5-10 seconds between each pic. THEN when I'd selected them all, it would say try again and give me something else to select! :mad: :mad: :mad:
Usually I whizz through those 30-entry radio comps in about half an hour, yesterday I did 5 and gave up as it had taken me over half an hour just to get that far!

And if you click the option to hear sounds (ie when you listen to numbers read out to you instead), you cannot bloody understand them either!

Same here. Last 2 days it is taking pages and pages of captchas to get through. I usually do the radio/enter your mobile number, up to 30 entries, ones. But yesterday I gave up before getting through the first one. I'm hoping it's a temporary blip, and won't last long. It's certainly way OTT for weeding out bots. Unless they're now trying to weed out compers too!

The captcha's seemed to work better using my ipad rather than PC, but wouldn't let me do all the entries of those allowing 30 entries.

All those above (or anyone else) who is having the same problems as I'm having, can I ask if you are using Firefox?
I am, and I just tried using Edge and everything was fine (touch wood)

Have tried using IE11 and Edge with no success.


Managed to do one competition using ipad.

I find that sometimes clearing cookies helps, or opening in an incognito window. They seem to get worse the more you do.

I'm using a Kindle Fire tablet at the mo, but I should be getting my laptop back later today. I'll report back if I notice any differences.

I use Edge on a desktop PC but I find the same problem if I use Chrome or on the laptop. I think next week when the radio comps come up, I'll try my phone or one of the kids' tablets.
