Self Employment Advice

My OH is going to be working 2 jobs soon. One is 2 days a week and is PAYE the second is going to be on a self employed basis where she invoices for the work she does.
I believe? That in respect of the self employed job she will be entitled to claim tax relief for travelling to and from the place of work ? Would she be entitled to claim for the purchase of a small car for that purpose too, or would that come in with the mileage claim including insurance and other associated costs. Any advice would be gratefully received

Not unless it is a temporary place of work.

Also may not get full relief depending on emissions and fuel type - may have to write it off as little at 8% per year and then adjust private use on that.

Think the car will be a small hatchback Toyota Aygo or similar
