Dental Implants - Cost & recommendations

Hi,

I've to get a single tooth replaced and have the option of a bridge or implant. All I've read so far would suggest that an implant is the best solution.

I've been quoted a fee of just over £2000 for this treatment.

Is this a likely cost or is it too much?

Who are the recommended implant specialists in Northern Ireland? My quote is from a belfast based clinic.

Look in to Eastern Europe. Prices and service in the UK are a complete joke.

And if the worse should happen and you get a bodge job done then what ?

Pay cheap and return flights plus accommodation and then maybe follow up check ups could not be far away from that cost, Better off if you can afford it having any dental work done at home by a good dentist and then if it goes wrong you are covered as opposed to some place abroad that may say do one.

Last your I needed a top front tooth done. Was quoted in the region of 2000-2400. I opted instead for a bridge which cost about 800 and I'm well pleased. Most of the dentists doing implants will give you free consultation but beware when they get you in they try to upsell, telling you you need more done
