Hi ladies, back from hols. Had a fabulous time and have booked for next year same time same place. So I was pretty restrained (for me) and only bought:-
Estee Lauder Lip Potion in Quiet Riot. Don't own any Estee Lauder - seemed reason enough to justify it !!
My Burberry perfume
Body Shop Chinese Ginseng and Rice face mask
Only 2 UUs whilst away and on Monday morning:-
Boots Extracts Vanilla body scrub. Feelings have not changed about these products.
Creightons Argan Oil conditiioner. This is lovely though I prefer the Kind Natured one. Will buy this one again though if I can't get a Kind Natured one.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the new thread Deleted_User, I am in again this month. two UU so far this month Liz Earle face moisturiser tub. its one of my HG items, I have replaced it with a tube of the same moisturiser. My other UU is my deodorant and have replaced it with one from my stash.
I need to find a natural spf face cream, I used to use Olay but then I had a severe allergic reaction to it. Last year I had Neals yards spf face cream but it was so hard to put on and made me look like a ghost. I have a problem with chemicals in normal moisturisers, has anyone tried green peoples spf face cream or any other natural brands?£2 savers club 2025 #2= £380 -
i have very sensitive skin to spf. I find my eyes weep all day and sweat around it, I found bioderma (it is chemical rather than a physical block) is very good.
The physical spf contain zinc oxide and titatinium dioxide (it is the stuff to make white paint white) it will give a massive kick back.
new zealand trilog5y does spf but they do have a white cast, and need a lot of scrubbing5 to remove,
avene do a chemical free spf Eau Thermale Avène Mineral Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ and i have never heard a bad word about their products.
skinceuticals does one but i have never tryed it, Skinceuticals Physical Matte Uv Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 I think it is used after strong peels and pure photo sensitivity.
i used this one La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid. it gives a white glow but i layer make up on any way. I recall that you needed to shake it but it was good. I did not realize it was mineral based.
A great tip is buy a really nice hat that suits you and wear it daily, I got a big brimmed hat and wear it during the summer even popping into the supermarket. Also invest in white cover ups that have light feel but dense fabric. Some sites sell clothes with uv protection garanteed and bring a cover up when strolling between buildings. sun protection should be stylish and never a chore.0 -

Superdrug Lime & ginger Showergel
B&H 130ml rose & ylang ylang & Patchouli body lotion
Quick update for me a couple of ins from the weekend of a small bar of serendipity soap & Miranda soap because I confess to needing cheering up at the time.
Shampoo is practically spluttering at last, baby soap appears to be as long lasting as fairy green bars for laundry!
1 UU of Avobath bathbomb WMBA in the Jan sale, bath bombs for me are too expensive for their one use, like to get my value for money!:pDesperately Determined to Destroy the Debts one at a time.. and Seriously Save for the Spectacular future.:p0 -

Hi all!
Realllllyyyy useful conversations about SPF! I need to find a good one for my face I confess to not really using one currently. I too have the painful weepy eyes and hadn't realised that was an allergic reaction! I remember once it being just awful and thinking back I probably had a skin reaction too.
VALM - glad you had a lovely holiday. I'm desperate to go away. I'm actually trying to save up to go to somewhere in Asia some day. I think possibly Cambodia and Vietnam or maybe Thailand and Bali or something.
I have some UUs:
Sample of Laura Mercier Rose Facial Oil - WB this was really really lush. Made my skin feeling amazing next day if put on at night and I love anything with rose in.
Full size Neals Yard tissue off cleanser - WPNBA- I've forgotten the specific one and binned it now but this was just too rich for me and probably better suited to older skins. It was nice though and I do like this brand a lot.0 -
I'm usually OK with SPF face creams if I avoid the eye area, the only thing I really react to is moisturisers with self-tanners. It's difficult to apply this and totally avoid the eye area so I tend to avoid them.
The reaction is annoyingly random.
A few years ago I was teaching in a classroom some four hours after applying a self tanner moisturiser and my eyes started streaming. Everyone tried to tell me I had hay fever but I knew it wasn't that. My current eye cream has some SPF and I seem to be okay with that, touch wood.
I've had a really weird hair NBI - an anti frizz product that you apply before shampoo and conditioning to dry hair, supposed to last for 10 days. Anyway, giving it a go later, will review and report.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
