Same day parcel delivery to England.

I need to send a small box to England,but it needs to be there on the same day.
Is this possible and who could do it...Royalmail,courier???
Any help much appreciated.

Same day is going to be the same set up really,so very expensive.

You will probably struggle from NI as the main couriers would be next day due to flights or boats that are arranged in advance with a days worth of items on them for the costs involved.

Two options are at a very heavy price and get a man with a van/ taxi driver to take it over or make them wait until the following day, If they say they want it Today I would hazard guess here that you are going to be looking minimum of £300.00 upwards, I did a flight over the day before and that cost me just under £200.00 so factor this in plus additional costs and there profit will be a big bill.

Is it really worth paying such an excess unless the other end is picking up the tab in which case there is a few taxi firms I know that would happily go over.

Agreed with all said. Courier firms are set up to take multiple items and for NI this usally means 48 hours+. You'd have to pay a lot for same day delivery I'm afraid and not many will offer it.

You know,in different times the power of social media could have fixed this.
You could have had (eg) facebook groups organising to carry packages on their flights.
Of course sadly with todays political/religious issues its not going to happen.
