When I tried to check out I was asked to pay £1.99 for delivery as I hadn't spent more than £10..

Is this a common thing? It states free delivery when spending more than £10..

Probably gift vouchers don't count . Check their terms and I think wrong forum so this will be moved.

You have answered your own question.

You say you hadn't spent more than £10 and then you say its only free delivery over £10.

You are saying yourself that if the order is under £10 which yours was, there is postage charges.
