Historical default, broker wants to place me with same lender?

Hi All, Broker wants to place me with Barclays. He is aware I had defaulted on a student account / overdraft with them many years ago. The default does not show on my credit file. Yeah that's it, training on the system is more word of mouth than anything else!

To be fair it's extremely robust and does the job it needs to, it's just antiquated.
