Not sure if this is a realistic or not? I have put details into Halifax mortgage calculator which says they can lend me the money i need..but not sure if the 'stress test' would be a different story? what rate do lenders stress test at? (I have a broker and have asked for another appointment, so am waiting to discuss further.)
Deposit: £70k 80% LTV
Salary: £31288 (annual increments to £36000 in 5 years)
Sole applicant
Property Value: £215000
No debts or issues (apart from a student loan deducted from pay).
Credit Reports all ok with good scores
30 year mortgage term
Does the above look ok, or am i pushing it??
Thanks

You are at the top end but it should be achievable.
Lenders do their stress testing behind the scenes but it is taken into account on their affordability calculators.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
