Debt Assigned to CAIS Member

Good evening,
I am hoping someone can offer me some advice. I voluntary declared myself bankrupt in June 2015. Discharged June 2016. I recently checked my credit report and a debt of £4999 owing to Barclays has been sold stating Debt Assigned to CAIS Member.
I have a new debtor appeared on my credit report from a company called PRA Group UK Limited. It says that the account was defaulted when it should have been 17/07/2015, but now it says that the balance is £5000.
Can they do that or is that correct? I'm confused about what I need to do now.
Any help appreciated.

Barclaycard often sell off bankruptcy debts to a third party (who will be hoping for a dividend from the bankruptcy estate) all perfectly legal and should have no effect on you.
The new company should still report correctly the original default date as applied by Barclaycard OR date the default as the date of bankruptcy at the latest if no other default had been recorded - see the sticky on cleaning up credit files at the top of the forum for more details.0 -
Thanks Gaz,
I've done that. I have written a letter to send to them in the morning. I also spoke to the Official Receiver who dealt with me at the start. I was just worried as it stated i now owed them the credit card amount. They need t make that as settled then it will be okay. Thanks again.0
