Help! Can't create a bank account for 6 years due to category 6 fraud mark

Help me, so basically last month I did the worst thing I could've done, I gave my bank details away in promise of money, now NatWest have shut down my account and no other high street banks will accept me. Is there any other banks that will accept me, be it a credit union account or prepaid card. Will they accept me or am I stuck using parents bank accounts for 6 years? Any replies will be greatly appreciated, I'm under 18 incase you're wondering

I wouldn't say that - it tells us that he allowed his bank account to be used for a fraudulent purpose? This perhaps?

What a terrible thing to happen to a young, inexperienced person, to have your finances ruined at such an early stage in your life.I wouldn't say that - it tells us that he allowed his bank account to be used for a fraudulent purpose? This perhaps?

At least this particular poster has mum and dad to help out, but imagine being so young and being left high and dry on your own, possibly having to cope with uni and all the associated fees and loans with no access to a bank account. Sad.

A building society savings account with an ATM card might be an option.0

YBS do a cashcard account with a sort code/account number. The card enables you to take cash out of LINK machines. Not prefect but may be helpful...0

Are they guaranteed to accept me provided my ID is verified or will they use CIFAS data and leave me in the cold?0

I hear Metro Bank is quite sympathetic, is this true? Has anyone managed to open an account with them whilst having a fraud marker?0
