Does anyone know where you can receive free tax advice? I'm needing to ask a few questions as I don't understand what applies to me regarding a Capital gains, stamp duty and inheritance tax. I just need a few questions answered by a solicitor to work out whet routes apply to me individually ? Any recommendation on free legal trusted advice?

taxvol.org.uk if you qualify. Otherwise to get decent quality advice, I would recommend you pay a professional.
Most accountants will give you an initial consultation free of charge but would not give advice at that point, unless you chose to pay.0 -
The difference between paid for and free advice is very simple, it is called professional indemnity insurance. So if you get duff free advice and lose the odd £10k as a result, tough luck. But if you get duff advice from someone with PII cover there is every chance you'll get your £10k back.Hideous Muddles from Right Charlies0

Thanks for the help. It's just a few questions I wanted to ask, without instructing work. Not complex but thought if I know some options I can instruct the appropriate work when I know what route to take. Tax is so complex!0
