Advice needed (solicitors)

Some may know i have had a few questions about solicitors
I am hoping someone could give me some good advice,
My story,
We instructed a solicitor of out choice and had to have the relevant paper work sent, which delayed us by 3-4 weeks( no idea why)
So the paper work was received around 2 weeks ago, the searches apparently instructed, we have heard today from our broker, Yorkshire water company could not find the address ( we only have the plot number at the minutes) this is due to the council sorting the address.
so we have been advised today to change solicitors
we have paid them £200 so far for the charges,
Everyone that has spoken to the solicitors have said how rude they were to them. 4 people in total.
So how much of a pain would it be to change?
i of course do not want to but i have been advised to as my broker seem to think he just doesn't want the work and everything is going at a snails pace.
Could anyone please give me any advice.
