Getting a mortgage- Unplanned overdraft
NiaS90
Myself and my partner have just put in an offer on a property. My issue is if they accept and we start the ball rolling in applying for a mortgage (we already have a mortgage in principle) they will request bank statements. My partner went in to an unplanned overdraft recently and i'm worried this will effect us.
He is going to pay it off this month in full. Has anyone been in a similar situation and gone in to an unplanned overdraft but still been accepted for a mortgage?
Thanks:money:

Do you have an Application in Principle already? If not then speak to your lender or broker and give them the facts. They will be able to advise or make an offer based on your current situation.
If your partner have only been overdrawn once and not missed payments previously then its probably ok, but the lender will be the only ones to confirm.0
