Where can I buy a stand for a golf bag, without the bag?

A friend has asked me to look online to find him a stand for his golf bag. He swears he has seen some for sale but cant remember where.

Every site I look on for Golf Superstores to Ebay and Amazon they all have the bag with them which he does not want.

Has anyone on here any idea where they sell them please?

Yes you used to be able to buy them when I worked in a golf shop in the late 80's since then a carry bag comes with its own stand and a cart bag tends not to have a stand as it's really too big and heavy to carry so no need.

I suggest your friend buys a new carry bag with a stand also they might find the bag they wish to carry hasn't got a double strap which would make it uncomfortable to carry.
