New Job first timw commuting

Hello All,

Ive probably used the train about 5 times in my whole life and that was for socialising.

I am now going to use it for work as I dont want to add miles on my motor.

My daily travel will be from Coventry to five rings Birmingham train station

I will have to stop in new street and then change.

It works out to be 9 pounda daily for a return ticket is there anyway i can reduce this down further?

Do you mean Five Ways?

If you get a Zones 1-5 season ticket this should save you money. This is valid between all the stations in these zones (Coventry is Zone 5, Five Ways is Zone 1).

You would also be able to use this at the weekend for leisure/shopping trips.

The prices are £820 for an annual ticket or £68.70 for monthly direct debit.
