Hello lovely OS board, I'm hoping someone can help with some suggestions for something a bit different to make with Leftover Lamb leg from my Sunday roast, bit bored of what I usually make (stew/curry) I'm cooking for 2 adults and 3 children, don't mind buying a couple of bits to make any suggestions and have the day off so can spend a bit of time cooking.
Any new ideas please?

Rissoles - I mix LO meat with mashed potato, chopped onion and peas. Shape into patties and either bake or fry until golden brown. Lovely with baked beans and/or LO gravy0

for me it has to be shepherd's pie, but I have also made a sort of Glamorgan sausage with chicken and I think they'd work with leftover lamb too.
the mix is basically grated onions, mixed herbs (dried) finely chopped meat, breadcrumbs (I use stuffing mix) and egg to bind into a stiff 'dough'. form into sausage shapes and then bake or fry til hot throo.
or how about a hearty lamb, pearl barley and tomato soup? only a rough idea but... onion and a stick of celery finely diced and 'sweated' (I hate that word) add garlic, finely diced carrot and red pepper and fry a bit more, cumin, paprika, cinnamon (start with small amounts, you can add more later) add barley, tinned chopped tomatoes and stock and simmer for maybe 40 mins or so til barley is soft, you'll need to add more stock probably cos it sucks up lots, add diced lamb at the end to heat throo. a squirt of tomato puree might be good to add more body, add with the tinned toms.0 -

I've posted this before but this is loved in this house, esp if there is very little lamb left
Lamb kebabs in pittas
Fill warmed pitta with salad and dressing and top with thin sliced warmed lamb. Or fill the pittas with salad and then saute onions,,peppers, mushrooms until soft, add the lamb, a good dollop of sweet chilli sauce and fill with that. Add chillis, sour cream, whatever to taste0
