Increase in holiday not making a difference

I work for the same company at two different locations. At one location I do one 6 hour shift and one 6.5 hour shift. At the other I do two 8 hour shifts and one 7.5 hour shift.

Last year I had 5.6 weeks holiday. After a year there that has gone up to 6 weeks holiday

A problem seems to arise because I have two seperate holiday allowances. One for either location

At the one location I had 12.5 × 5.6 = 70 hrs. This year I have 12.5 x 6 = 70 hrs

However this extra 5 hrs doesn't give me any extra shifts.

So was it worth me getting the increase in holiday allowance

At site one you work 12.5 hours over 2 days and get 6 weeks holiday so that equals 6 Monday's and 6 Tuesday's or 75 hours.
