Side sleeper: Premier Inn Hypnos or JohnRyan Origins 1500 Mattress

We currently have a La Romantica Lovell Coolmax double Mattress and it has been very comfy until recently where I have started waking up with aching shoulders that can last all day. The mattress is almost 7 years old so we were thinking it may be time to replace it.
We are both side sliders. I'm 5 ft 11 and just under 11 stone and my partner is 5ft 6 and just under 10 stone.
After doing a bit of research online we are thinking about going for one of the following mattresses:
1: Premier Inn bed - Hypnos mattress with attached quilted topper
2: JohnRyan Origins Pocket 1500.
The Hypnos mattress seems very good value it is just a shame the topper is not removable (making the mattress none turnable).
Does anyone have either of these mattresses or have any other options we should consider?

Have you thought about ViSpring. They aren't cheap but they are exceptional. Ours has recently been replaced, the old one being a 17 year old ViSpring that has been recycled to the spare room - it's still as comfortable as ever but we've changed to a Superkingsize in the form of two zipable mattresses.0

I'm a side sleeper too, I can't comment about the specific mattress you want, but I have just bought a John Ryan Origins Comfort 1000 (it was the best one for my weight, in my price range), and it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Their customer service is brilliant too.0

Sadly ViSpring is out of our budget
@Kunoichi73 how do you find the Origins Pocket 1000? We are both around 10 stone so maybe the softer 1000 will be better for us too.0 -
If you have aching shoulders maybe you should try replacing pillows first to see if that makes the difference? Much cheaper than a new bed!0

Sorry for not replying sooner! I'm loving it. For my weight (8.5 stone) it's classed as medium firmness and I was a bit worried that it might be too firm, but it's really really comfortable and I'm not sure I'd go any softer.
Ring them up and talk to them. They are so helpful and really want to get the best option for their customers.0
