Currys /PC World wanted

Looking for Currys/PC World discount codes/vouchers as am about to buy a laptop from there or Amazon - any ideas please?

    Why not.....is it cos they're rubbish? Where do I get a new laptop for around £230 please?

    Their customer service leaves something to be desired, looking at threads on here. I bought a laptop from them the other week as they were the only place that had the one I wanted. No issues here (I was aware that goods were non-returnable once turned on, which has caught some posters out.)

    If you are buying from them, I'd:

    a) Buy online so they can't try to sell you things you don't want/need
    b) Use a credit card for S75 protection (one more avenue to explore if you end up having issues.)
    c) Do your own research (so you don't end up disovering the machine is underpowered for your usage after it's too late to return it, having turned it on) and don't take any advice from their staff (most know very little it seems, again judging from threads on here.)

    Other than refurbished machines, for £230ish you'll be limited to machines that Currys PC World label 'Social' - netbook type specs.
