ha ha me too! our new bank account cards came today for my new nationwide account so I need to move over money so its away from Santander who I have debts with however I paid my Santander ones in full this month to give me a month to move everything over - lucky that I made that decision as I seem to have messed up my new online banking registration now have to wait for new details in the post :doh::doh:

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I will ask anyway ....

I'm sending my letters to creditors at the weekend. What address do I use?

Is it just a generic one from each website?

    Sx

    Can anyone help for tomorrow?

Just use the standard business address and mark for the attention of customer services. At this point your account is just the same as anyone else. In time they may hand it over to their in-house debt collections, but you're a way off that yet.

I have also just had my first payday with no payments. It's an odd feeling!

Anyone with Stepchange, do you have any idea how long it took your application pack to arrive? I requested mine on Tuesday, nothing yet :(

    Welcome to the forum

Mine came about 7-10 days, I filled it all in then emailed it back to them.

Have you got an emergency fund in place, I only say this as I put off starting mine for 2 months, so dont feel pressured or rush into anything until your ready.

Keep posting on here for any help or support. :j

Look.. don't be in such a rush :) You're at the start of what could be a very long journey and what you need now is a bit of timeout. The paperwork will arrive in due course and you need to make sure you give yourself a good few months of not paying anything towards the non-priority debts to build up a decent emergency fund. I realise you'll be itching to get everything up and running - that's natural, but this is the good moment (before the DMP starts in earnest) to take things at a nice slow pace.

All in good time, don’t rush headlong into this.

Take your time, and get it right.
