new build house in am looking at is going to be approx 400k (based on previous plots as not yet released).
could I put down 10% deposit and get the full additional 20% HTB equity loan to make LTV 70% or is it limited to 75% l

Yes you can put that down.
I put down 14% and took the full 20% HTB loan when I bought 3 years ago.
More recently I was looking at putting down 17% deposit, taking 10% HTB, and 73% mortgage.0 -

As the minimum mortgage is 25%, you can put down upto 55% deposit and have the HTB loan for 20% to make 100% of your purchase price.I am a mortgage broker.
