Unfortunately the bus fare is my fare to work... and its the cheapest and only way to get there (except car)...

I dont tend to eat a great deal, never have, but will need to allow around £20 a week for food, and £10 a week for the cats.

Birthdays and christmas is just gonna be a bit tough this year!

  • If you are going to be moving abroad anyway - could you move back in with your mum for 6 months? You could definately do it then!

Unfortunately my mum is who i am moving to be near, she lives in Ireland.

The only other family i have is my dad, but if at all possible i would like to keep living in my flat until i go, and i have permission to sub-let the flat in case things dont work out, suppose i could still do that living at my dads...

Hmmmmm now there is a thought!

Thats a good idea. I do still want to pay mum a little bit each month, as kind of a nice thing if that makes sense?

I wanted to try and do it in 6 months, do you think that is feasible? (i want to move away)

its your choice as to how much you can commit to, ref the credit card, why not go the "heres my card cut up, please freeze the interest" route, to stop the total increasing?

or change your name by deed poll and leg it to mums......lol
  • SOrry I'm confused re cats! I have 4 and they have a mixture of IAMS & cheapie but dont cost that much! What are they eating!! Seriously seems a lot of money..!! Or was it vet bills? Just wanted to clarify!! All certainly doable though from what people have said and every penny does count!
