Awaiting Buyers Mortgage Offer

Hi,
First time posting! Please be kind.
So we are selling our house 🏡. We have accepted an offer from such a lovely 😊 couple. Anyway, the survey (valuation and homebuyers) was done on the 2nd of March. I was around when it was carried out. The surveyor told me he suspected dry rot in our loft. I cried a lot that day especially after googling dry rot. Anyway there was a timber survey done by a PCA company in the 6th of March, this only happened because the surveyor told me that he would report suspect dry rot and that Nationwide would offer £0.00 and ask for a timber survey and sure enough on the same day the Mortgage company made a mortgage offer of £0.00 and requested the timber survey.
The report was sent to our buyer and forwarded on the Nationwide on the 13th of March. Now I am literally worrying myself sick. Despite knowing that the
Suspected dry rot was nothing more than a little condensation.
I think what I am trying to ask is has anyone ever been in my shoes? Does anyone have any idea how long our buyers are likely to wait.
Genuinely worried sick and so must be my poor buyers who are first time buyers and I just don't want them to be so stressed about all of this.
