Help me make lemonade?

Friend wants to make lemonade, we have 3 lemons, a blender and sugar.

And ice cubes if that helps.

We want to use all 3 lemons, whats best way to do this?

You will also need citric acid if you want to keep it.

This is like a lemon squash rather than lemonade and only takes one lemon but you could always treble the ingredients if you are determined to use them all.

    1 lemon
1 lb sugar (about half a kilo)
    1 desertsponn citric acid
About one and a half pints of boiling water. Sorry, I think that's about 700mls.

zest the lemon and squeeze all the juice out. Place in a bowl and add everything else. Stir until the sugar has dissolved
    Leave to get cold.
    Strain into a bottle.
This makes a sort of concentrated lemon squash.

I'm sure you will get other ideas.

Sounds easy enough but as we haven't done it before I wonder about the unwaxed/washed part of recipies, seen recipies that say to scour the lemons does that literally mean use a scourer rough or does it mean gently smooth lemon by scrubbing.

Give the lemon a scrub under hot water to remove the wax coating

Personally, I would use tonic water and not soda, which I find very salty.

Citric acid is very underrated. A pinch added to something sweet adds a je ne sais quoi. It's the new salt!
